Ednovate Background

Ednovate is a network of public, tuition-free, high-performing college prep high schools in Los Angeles and Orange County. We serve first-generation college-bound students from traditionally underserved communities. Our students have a 99% college acceptance rate, but what matters even more is that we’re graduating self-aware, engaged young adults who are headed toward a life of purpose and impact.

Our team is made up of world travelers, nacho connoisseurs, KPOP business owners, and Taylor Swift fans. We love LA and OC, and we're our students' biggest cheerleaders. What You’ll Do:

  • Drive Brand Awareness and Outreach: Partner with our marketing associate to actively promote Ednovate as an employer-of-choice through strategic marketing, partner engagement and outreach; ensure a positive candidate experience and strong organizational reputation.
  • Lead Strategic Recruitment Planning and Execution: Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies that enhance Ednovate's ability to attract and hire a diverse pool of A+ talent. Collaborate with key stakeholders to advance strategic recruitment initiatives. Actively lead hiring managers through the recruitment and selection life cycle, from sourcing to onboarding, with a laser focus on efficiency, effectiveness and candidate experience.
  • Facilitate Data-Driven Recruitment: Utilize analytics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, make data-driven decisions to improve processes and drive future strategies, and report on key recruitment metrics to senior leadership.
  • Advance Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging: Increase diversity within the candidate pool and among new hires by establishing partnerships with diverse organizations and educational institutions. Lead DEI initiatives within the hiring, onboarding and orientation process to ensure equitable and inclusive recruitment and retention.
  • Enhance Employee Retention and Engagement: Partner with the human resources team to implement a structured onboarding program that drives culture, connection and clarity. Lead cross-functional initiatives that promote teammate growth and retention, particularly among underrepresented staff.

  • A rigorous time-and-task manager who can backwards plan to advance both long- and short-term priorities
  • An experienced recruiter who has a track record of success developing and executing data-driven talent strategies and strives to be the best at what they do while having fun along the way
  • A graduate of a four-year university
