Ednovate Background

Ednovate is a network of public, tuition-free, high-performing college prep high schools in Los Angeles and Orange County. We serve first-generation college-bound students from traditionally underserved communities. Our students have a 99% college acceptance rate, but what matters even more is that we’re graduating self-aware, engaged young adults who are headed toward a life of purpose and impact.

What You'll Do:

We are seeking talented educational leaders that are committed to developing high levels of academic achievement in high schools in Southern California. Upon completion of our Principal Residency, the Resident may open up a new innovative high school as part of our network or serve as a successor to one of our current schools. Residents go through a two-year residency program where they learn about our network, serve as a support administrator at one or more campuses, and engage in leadership competency aligned tasks/projects to enhance their development. In the second year of the residency, they will be responsible for recruiting a full class of students, hiring a full staff and working with Ednovate leadership to implement and iterate on our innovative HS model. This is an incredible opportunity for a driven educator to impact students' high school experience by thinking creatively about school design within Ednovate's school culture and academic parameters.

• Supportive of our warm/strict discipline model and effective in maintaining a consistent, disciplined classroom

• A graduate of a four-year university

• Our salary range for Principal Residents starts at $97,000 and is commensurate with experience.
